Wannabe MTT playa
  PetrBlaha, Mar 10 2008

Yeah, it's been a while since I've post here... nevermind though..

Quick recap, I've played until NL100, now in february I've decided that I will try MTTs for a while to learn something different.

In order to be succesful MTT, I've decided I will put max effort into learning process so I've got myself membership at savvy plus (which I've been told it has great tournament videos). So now I'm watching like 6 videos a day from CR or savvy, making some notes, reading articles and also applying little bit of practice, needless to say; that practice isn't that effective..but hey, I have to learn it somewhere right?
I also had to split up my BR between FTP and PS.. dunno if it's enough. I'm trying to find some good tournament pokerrooms.
One thing I'm not sure of is, whether SNGs are good practice for MTTs, because there are some points where it is same but many points, where it differs.
So what's my current plan? In february I will primary try to gain some knowledge by watching all savvy videos and some of CR ones. I will also try to play at least one or two 15-30$ tournaments a day, hope for some profit, but not counting on it.

Exams....
  PetrBlaha, May 23 2007

....done !!!

Yeah !!!! About marks : Literature 2 (for americans : 1 is A, 5 is E that means 2 is B), English 1, Geography 3 (stupid western asia like kazachstan or turkmenistan...) and Sociology 1

In literature I've got czech realism, english topic was food and sociology was "human, nature and culture (what is culture, what is nature, what are norms of society and how we can change them)

that means I've succesfully passed and now I'm ready for college and have now 5 months of free time... which means lot of poker work to do

Tommorow = exams
  PetrBlaha, May 22 2007

DISCLAIMER: this post can possibly turn into line of swearwords.

So hell yeah. I've spent about 3 weeks learning for my final exams (called maturita) @ grammar school. I've learned about 6-10 hours a day for the fucking first time of my life so I think I've made like everything that I could have done.

But still after those about 160 hours of pure learning my mind seems to be totally "blanked", like tabula rasa (as John Locke, great empirist says). It is so weird feeling. I just now I should know it but I feel so weird. I hope that tommorow, it will all go the right way. just imagine 3 weeks full of literature, geography, sociology, philosophy, politology, economics and english.

I feel like I'm retarted now. Everytime I hear something it reminds me of something that I've learned. Like I'm reading some sarcastic comment "Oh drama" and I realize "hmm m there are certain types of drama like comedy, tragedy, opera .... , also there are ways how drama is made (introduction, develop dunno english words for it)" ... and everything around me is so ... weird :D. I can't even handle any more stories that people tell me, f.e. my friend was telling me about some story from weekend and at the evening when he was like "do you remember about that stuff @ weekend" and I'm like "HELL no ffs, wtf are u talking about newb" and I'm ggnored

Anyways... even from the shit I'm typing u can realize how dizzy I am right now, it's my first BIG test and I hope and I believe I will pass it.

Good night, tommorow I'll tell ya how it went
